The PATHWAYS to a sustainable future conference will be hosted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as part of the 10 year anniversary celebrations since the establishment of the EPA. The conference will be held on 15th and 16th May 2003 in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin.
The purpose of this conference is to showcase the research work being carried out under the Environmental Research Technological Development and Innovation Programme. The main themes for the Parallel Sessions are:
- Air Quality, Climate Change and Greenhouse Gases
- Water Quality
- Waste and Resources Management
- Biodiversity and Land Use
- Environmental and Socio-economics
- Cleaner Greener Production
The ERTDI Programme has produced results that have contributed to a scientific understanding of environmental issues and has the potential to influence policy and management and this conference provides the opportunity for showcasing the interesting work done to date.
