Dear EURASAP members

In the present Newsletter we welcome a EURASAP Committee member of Poland - Anna Zwozdziak from the Wroclaw University of Technology.

In the 42nd and 43rd issues Dr. Sylvain Joffre, the Chairperson of the COST Technical Committee for meteorology gives information about the COST Programme of the European Union.

The links and collaboration of EURASAP with other international organizations within the scope of EURASAP is in the current Newsletter encouraged by the Discussion paper of Prof. Peter Builtjes, the Chairman of EURASAP and the Chairman of the Scientific steering committee of EUROTRAC.

We would also like to remind all EURASAP members that the EURASAP activities are financed only on the base of membership fee. All EURASAP members are therefore asked to show their support for the EURASAP activities also by dully paying their annual fees. The membership of institutions, firms and organisations as corporate members is also important for EURASAP. It is the last time in the present Newsletter that the Membership form for 2001 is included.

Following the EURASAP Committee decision the membership fees for 2002 will be slightly increased.
