Dear EURASAP members

Following the establishment of EURASAP in Aveiro, the financial issues of the Association will be undertaken there. Please, note, that the Membership forms should be sent to Prof. Carlos Borrego in Aveiro, Portugal.

The EUROTRAC-EURASAP collaboration continues this year through the support of young scientists for conferences. Klara Bezpalcova (Czech Republic), Nikolai Kolev (Bulgaria) and Violeta Kauneliene (Lithuania) were given EURASAP grants to participate the Fifth Urban Air Quality Conference in Valencia, Spain.

The communication of research achievements to broader community is an everlasting task in science. A very nice example of that is Dr. Nørgård’s article Technology and Fairy Tales.

Barry Smith, one of the creators of EURASAP, died in the UK recently. Prof. Helen ApSimon presents to us a warm summary of his life.
